Manufacturer from Japan with plastic model kits, educational toys, figures, diecast miniature cars, R/C toys, has released in catagory 'Military Vehicles' a line of plastic "post war" model kits in scale 1/72.

Kit 01 (aos002322) - JGSDF 3.5T military transport truck.
Same vehicle as Fujimi kit 72M-9 but not the same sprue's !!! - There are differences.
Short review by Tino Werner.
The driver's cabin of the Fujimi kit can be built with or without the tarpauline.
The Aoshima cabin is engraved with detail, but I think the Fujimi cabin matches more the real thing. The engravings of the Fujimi kit are in general deeper than the ones of the Aoshima kit. Thus, the board walls of the Fujimi kit look more structured. Furthermore, I also don't like the tarpauline for the load area of the Aoshima kit. Through the window openings you can see the thick molded plastic. Not very realistic. The Aoshima load bed has a detailed bottom while the Fujimi hasn't. It is without any structure. In general all small parts like suspension, etc., of the Aoshima kit look better. The Fujimi kit comes with metal axles. The frames of both trucks have different widths! See picture #2. The wheels of both kits are also a catastrophy. They are not molded on the inner side! The Fujimi wheels are really horrible, even on the outside. The Aoshima wheels are ok on the outside.
Conclusion:
I would prefer the Aoshima kit. But if you want to built a good kit out of the box(es) you should use the best parts of both kits whenever they fit together. The result will be one good looking kit and one ugly model kit. Tino Werner.
