A Chinese light tank built in the early 60s. Has some history as a lot of them were deployed in China's invasion of Vietnam in 1979 suffering horrible losses with about half of them were destroyed by Vietnamese infantry with RPGs. No instructions but it seems fairly simple to put together - (Ilias Sardelis)

The correct Italian Army designation should be VBM Freccia (from Veicolo Blindato Medio - meaning Medium Armoured Vehicle - Note Ilias Sardelis)

The VCC-80/60 was one of the prototypes of the VCC Dardo IFV . It had a larger turret and was armed with a 60mm high velocity gun . It was more of a light tank than IFV and its intended role was to provide support for the IFVs of the mech infantry battalions . However as the Dardo would operate alongside the tanks of the armoured battalions the VCC-80/60 was considered superflous and never advanced beyond the prototype stage - (Ilias Sardelis)

The CV90105 has the hull of the CV90 IFV and a John Cockerill turret with a 105mm gun, the same used in the AMC-10RC scout vehicle. It came out in 2014 but no orders have been placed so far and it has remained a prototype

Shot was the Israeli name , Kal was the upgraded version with the Teledyne-Continental diesel engine and the 105mm gun . There were 4 variants - Alef , Bet , Gimel and Dalet (or A,B,C and D in the Jewish alphabet) . The Alef and Bet were the same externally while the Gimel had ERA (explosive reactive armour) blocks fitted on the turret and hull . The Dalet was the same as the Gimel but the gun barrel had a thermal sleeve . Of course the the thermal sleeve may have been retrofitted to the earlier variants so it might be impossible to distinguish them . The gun barrel was inadequate so I replaced it with a metal barrel from Microworld - Ilias Sardelis
